Principle of Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor:
Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) can gasify in room temperature, and get saturate state in sealed environment. The molecule can adsorb on metal surface. A transparent protect membrane which thick is only several molecule will form after series physical and chemical action. This membrane can prevent the metal from corrosion. The molecule of volatile Corrosion Inhibitor is in gas state after sublimation, it can fly to the parts surface. Therefore, it can get the excellent effect of anti-corrosion.

Yongyu VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) Packing Products User Guide
1. Yongyu VCI products are non-toxic and nitrite free, but are still not suitable for food packing.
2. VCI film: Please cut out the first one meter length before use. Inspection is required it is more than
one year from production date. Please seal the film after use.
3. Keep out of sunshine, heat and fire. Storage temperature ≦40℃. Strictly keep out of humidity. Store
at a height of at least 30 cm above the ground.
4. Storehouse and packing workshop should be kept dry. Keep out of acid, alkali and other caustic
substance.
5. To prevent corrosion before packing, do not leave metal products without protection. Please inspect
the products and re-treat when necessary before packing.
6. Sweat will stain the metal parts, so do not deal them with naked hand while packing. Please use
gloves.
7. Some machinery parts are hot after pretreatment, please wait until their temperature drops near the
environment temperature. Then wipe with clean soft fabric, be sure there are no sweat, water, grease,
rust and dirty on the parts.
8. Some parts have pointed edges, deal them with care. If the VCI bags are pierced by the edges while
packing, change the bags. Move the parts with care after packing. If the bags are found leaked please
apply transparent adhesive tapes to seal.
9. Packing with VCI bags: When packing with VCI flat bags, please be sure to seal tightly without any
leakage. When packing with VCI re-close bags, make sure to close the seal tightly. When packing with
VCI plastic seal bags, please seal according to requirements. If there’s any leakage, the corrosion
protection will be compromised.
